I have used and carry a Crafty Plugger http://craftyplugger.com/ worked well when I needed it.

I’m with Phil on this ....Crafty Plugger all the way. Never let me down! I also carry a small Airman compressor which uses power from the bike’s 12 volt socket.

I also carry 3 small cannisters (threaded type) of C02 and an adapter/connector to attach to valve.
