Xmas Quiz

Post by chris_johnson »

Many thanks to all who attended the Xmas Quiz. In retrospect it was, for the fifteenth year in succession, slightly more difficult than it should have been! The toughest round seemed to be Food & Drink, and the easiest History. There was only one perfect 10, Table 3 on Sounds played from CD, but they also made a most unfortunate round choice to play their Joker. In the end Table 6 triumphed with 79 points, just one point ahead of Table 7 and 10 points ahead of Table 4. They had a lot of people on Table 7. The race to the bottom was highly contested, with Tables 8, 9 and 10 tied on 53 points, Table 10 won the tie-break to gain the coveted wooden spoon. My long-suffering family yet again did sterling service as markers.

Regards
Chris J.
